Who am I?
I'm a 16-year-old girl and I live in Belgium (Flanders) - that's why I am a Belgian updatepage of course. I speak Dutch normally, but I tweet / blog in English most of the time. I also understand French (just can't speak / write it that well).

Why did I start this blog?
I have known One Direction since the beginning and I started with my twitter in September 2011, when they weren't that famous in Belgium yet. Things have changed a lot in the last year; every girl between 10 and 25 knows who One Direction are now, so the boys get loads more attention from the media. That's why I decided to create this Twitter / blog: I wanted to help other Belgian Directioners. I post updates about Belgium and things that affect Belgian fans (for example when the boys are on a TV show, I will tweet a link).

How did I get 'successful'?
I started tweeting when there weren't many Belgian updatepages, which made it easier for me to stand out. Besides that, I always check my information and spend quite some time looking for it as well. One Direction's management never give me information, but their Belgian management (Sony Music) follows me on Twitter and they are always willing to answer my questions.

What do One Direction mean to me?
One Direction are a huge part of my life. I have never loved a band so much before and I don't think I ever will again. I can't explain why I love them so much - it's like trying to explain how water tastes.
